Abstract
These Assessment Guidelines form a companion document to the University of Lilongwe Industrial Attachment Policy and Guidelines (UL/AA/IA/POL/2025). They establish a structured, transparent, and consistent framework for assessing student performance during and after Industrial Attachment.
Fair and rigorous assessment of Industrial Attachment is critical to ensuring that the attachment achieves its intended learning outcomes and that academic standards are maintained. These guidelines apply to all academic programs at the University of Lilongwe that include Industrial Attachment as a graduation requirement.
